RiskAICenter

RiskAICenter is a non-profit research organization dedicated to advancing the responsible application of Agentic AI in financial risk management, regulatory oversight, and quantitative research.

We are the successor to BigDataFinance.org, one of the most respected cross-disciplinary forums in quantitative finance — which brought together nearly 30,000 highly-focused professionals across academia, industry, and regulatory bodies over more than a decade of conferences, workshops, and original research.

That community built something rare: genuine trust and intellectual exchange across institutional boundaries that rarely talk to each other. Regulators who understood the models. Practitioners who engaged with academic rigor. Academics who cared about implementation.

Agentic AI demands exactly that kind of multi-constituency dialogue — and demands it urgently. Autonomous systems are being deployed in risk, credit, trading, and compliance right now. The frameworks, governance structures, and research agenda needed to do this responsibly are still being written. RiskAICenter exists to help write them.
